KAYA KALP POSTURE
The vibrations produced through this posture generates electromagnetic energy in the whole body, especially the organs mentioned in the steps below, hence the whole body becomes activated, the cells of the heart muscle and other organs get recharged, thereby replenishing the functional capacity and capability of all the organs.
Steps
1. Sit in any posture on the ground or on the chair.
2. Join two middle fingers of each hand and close the eyes while touching these fingers above the head.
3. Now concentrate on these joined fingers and keep separating them up to one ft. apart (the most important part of this kaya kalpa posture is, to keep concentrating on the separated four fingers while uttering HARI OM all the time so as to create an aura above the head)
4. Now start bringing both the hands down via route of ears, shoulders, lungs, heart, liver, stomach and place them on any comfortable position.
5. Repeat the same once more.
SHAVASANA
This is one of the major organ meditation postures which soothes, relaxes, distresses and comforts the whole functional systems of the body by bringing down high blood pressure (Hypertension) just to normalcy. This will result in deep sleep known as yog nidra (yogic sleep) within two-three minutes thereby bringing the heart and other systems to their original functional capability.
Steps
1. Lie down on the ground or on a cushion, cot or a sofa.
2. Place the hands on both sides of the body in any comfortable position and close the eyes.
3. Concentrate below the navel region and make the mind travel via the navel, liver, stomach heart, throat, forehead and the top of the head.
4. Breathing has to be normal without any botheration while bringing the mind down to same position via the same route.
5. Repeat this process of mind concentration four times and forget everything about the body and the mind but just slumber and relax.

The word yoga means ‘unity’ or ‘oneness’ and is derived from the Sanskrit word yuj which means ‘to join’. This unity or joining is described in spiritual terms as the union of the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness. On a more practical level, yoga is a means of balancing and harmonising the body, mind and emotions. This is done through the practice of asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, shatkarma and meditation, and must be achieved before union can take place with the higher reality.

As related to the physical aspect, each nostril, when it operates severally in the human body, effects the chemical composition of the body in a different way. The nasal circuit consists of the alternating inhalation and exhalation through two major alternating energy circuits IDA and PINGALA, which are regulated through SWARA-VIJNANA. If these currents are not flowing properly, it becomes evident in the breathing pattern, as well as alterations in the psychophyisiological state of the individual. Scientifically stated, there is a direct relationship between the air passing through a particular nostril and electromagnetic currents passing along the corresponding side of the vertebral column.
Nostrils by means of the process of respiration are connected to the neuromotor responses of the human body and the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system-responses influence the hemispheres of the brain, governing all human body functions. In addition to this, there are 72,000 invisible nadi’s or energy channels originating from the navel. These invisible energy channels all network into the flow from the right and left nostrils. Through a network of sensory nerves in the nose, the nostrils are connected to the nadis. The literal meaning of “nadi” is the flow of a resonating and subtle vibration. The Shiva Swarodaya names ten major Nadis in the human body, of which the Sushumna, Ida and Pingala are most important. These nadis connect to the doorways leading in and out of the body, and are the main channels for prana shakti.
The IDA and PINGALA flows of the nostril are considered good for various worldly activities , whereas the flow of both simultaneously alters the body chemistry preparing the body for meditation.
To prepare for the ability to attune oneself with nature, some basic guidelines include meditation, cleansing of energy points or chakras throughout the body through pranayama, and basic knowledge of the elements or Tattvajana. The cleansing of energy points or chakras is essential as these points are related to the network of 72,000 energy channels in the body. This technique is known as Nadi Shodhan. This renders possible the coordination of the internal and external universes, to allow the practitioner to capture the essence of nature.

For those who always skip breakfast, you should stop that habit now!
You’ve heard many times that “Breakfast is the most important meal of the
day.” Now, recent research confirms that one of the worst practices you
can develop may be avoiding breakfast.
Why?
Because the frequency of heart attack, sudden death, and stroke peaks
between 6: 00a.m. and noon, with the highest incidence being
between 8: 00a.m. and 10:00a.m.What mechanism within the body could
account for this significant jump in sudden death in the early
morning hours?
We may have an Answer.
Platelet, tiny elements in the blood that keep us from bleeding to Death
if we get a cut, can clump together inside our arteries due to
cholesterol or laque buildup in the artery lining. It is in the morning
hours that platelets become the most activated and tend to form these
internal blood clots at the greatest frequency.
However, eating even a very light breakfast prevents the morning platelet
activation that is associated with heart attacks and strokes. Studies
performed at Memorial University in St.Johns, Newfoundland found that
eating a light, very low-fat breakfast was critical in modifying the
morning platelet activation. Subjects in the study consumed either low-fat
or fat-free yogurt, orange juice, fruit, and a source of protein coming
from yogurt or fat-free milk. So if you skip breakfast, it’s important
that you change this practice immediately in light of this research.
Develop a simple plan to eat cereal, such as oatmeal or Bran Flakes, along
with six ounces of grape juice or orange juice, and perhaps a piece of
fruit. This simple plan will keep your platelets from sticking together,keep blood clots from forming, and perhaps head off a potential Heart
Attack or stroke.
So never ever skip breakfast.

Maha Nirvana, or enlightenment, is the true salvation where your soul is freed from being subjected to further bodily incarnations and it finally becomes an eternal part of the universal soul.
Our bodies are the physical manifestation of this cosmic energy and our minds are its intelligence. We should always use both to ultimately benefit the Universal soul and not to harm it. Our bodies and minds should be kept as healthy as possible through yoga exercises and other beneficial means. This will enable us to concentrate on the cleansing of our souls and reaching Maha Nirvana.
Of course, the link between a healthy body and a healthy mind has long been recognized. If you firmly believe that they are intrinsically connected then it is not unreasonable to take that a step further and link the workings of a person\’s body and their state of mind with the level of enlightenment that their soul has reached.
